Meet the Veterinarians & Staff
Of Manchester Animal Hospital

Jenny Rodriguez, BS/DVM

Jenny is originally from Greenville, South Carolina, and received her undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina in 1993. Upon graduation, she moved to Winston-Salem and worked in a small animal practice before entering veterinary school. Upon graduation from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Jenny returned to Winston-Salem and worked with close friends in a small animal practice. She moved to Fayetteville in 2005 and has been working at Manchester Animal Hospital ever since. She enjoys many aspects of the veterinary profession but takes special interest in dermatology, dentistry, and feline internal medicine.

When not at the hospital, Dr. Jenny enjoys working on her farm, which includes taking care of many animals such as chickens, goats, sheep, donkeys, a pot-bellied pig, rabbits, and, yes, dogs and cats too. Also, she is an avid North Carolina Tarheels fan and enjoys attending any of their sporting events. Dr. Jenny and Dr. Dale have yet to settle their rivalry between State and Carolina, and probably never will.

Jack Brown, BS/DVM

Jack Brown attended North Carolina State University and majored in animal science. After his undergraduate studies, he attended the University of Georgia, receiving his DVM in 1974.

Upon graduation, Dr. Brown worked in private practice in eastern North Carolina. After several years, he returned to his hometown of Fayetteville to start his own practice, Manchester Animal Hospital, in 1978. He enjoys many aspects of the veterinary profession, including surgery, ultrasonography, exotics, and avian medicine.

Dr. Jack Brown is married to Janice and together they have six children and many grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, going to the beach, and playing golf.

Dale Brown, BS/DVM

Dale Brown graduated from North Carolina State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001 after receiving his BS from North Carolina State in 1996. Upon graduation from veterinary school, Dr. Dale came back to his hometown of Fayetteville, North Carolina, to join his father in practice at Manchester Animal Hospital. His interests include orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, minimally invasive surgery, internal medicine, and dentistry.

Dr. Dale is married to Mandy and together they have two children, Emily and Will. When not working, Dr. Dale enjoys spending time with family, running, snow skiing, and golf.

Veterinary Staff of Manchester Animal Hospital

Christie L.—Receptionist

My name is Christie and I am a receptionist at Manchester Animal Hospital. I have one dog named Max who I consider my pseudo-son. He’s the craziest dog you will ever meet.

Juan B—Technician/Veterinary Assistant

My name is Juan and I am one the techs here at Manchester Animal Hospital. I love getting to know and work with clients and their pets. I have a mini farm of 3 dogs, 3 cats, 5 horses, too many chickens, 5 ducks and a couple of cows.

Mary A—Technician/Veterinary Assistant

My name is Mary and I’m a tech at Manchester Animal Hospital. Unlike Juan, I do have  a zoo!! I have 23 cats, 15 dogs, 2 donkeys, 2 sheep, 7 goats, 2 rabbits, 2 gerbils, 2 turbo hamsters, 2 turtles, fish and the most handsome pot bellied pig ever named Hamie. I almost forgot the 6 ducks and the 4 geese. I am a busy bee. PS…there is always room for more!!!

Krista M—Technician/Veterinary Assistant

My name is Krista and I have been a tech at Manchester Animal Hospital for a couple of years. I don’t have a farm, but I do have 3 horses, 4 dogs, and my favorite cat Tuna. One of my horses is a mini named Bart. He thinks he is one of the big horses. When I’m not at work, I am in my sanctuary.

Heather K.—Receptionist

I’m a receptionist at Manchester Animal Hospital. I have 4 children. They are my 2 dogs (Callie and Sadie) and my 2 cats (Zoey and Squishy).  While it’s not a farm, it definitely keeps my husband and I busy.  But it wouldn’t be home without them.

Dawn G—Kennel Assistant

I’m a kennel tech at Manchester Animal Hospital. I have 2 young sons and 1 cat. When I am not here taking care of our clients pets, I love to be at home spending time with my family.

Lesley C.—Kennel Assistant

I’m a kennel tech at Manchester Animal Hospital.  I have 3 dogs named Taz, Sasha, and Frankie. (I would have more but my aunt would kill me).  I also have 3 horses and a pet chicken named Chicken Little who thinks she is human. I love all animals and would love to rescue more because I believe they all deserve a good life.
